BoxGrip™
BoxGrip™ a patented product to revolutionise the process of fitting Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) cable-wrap tags!
Description
BoxGrip™ a patented product to revolutionise the process of fitting Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) cable-wrap tags!
If you have ever had the job of fitting Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarming tags to boxes, you will know just how time-consuming this task can be, not to mention the fact that the process of rewinding cable-wrap lanyards during tag removal is also very time consuming and frustrating for busy sales staff.
Typically the busy sales assistant will place the removed tags into a bin at the side of the checkout counter, this typically results in the lanyards tangling up to each other creating not only a time consuming situation to re-use them, but a frustrating situation and in some cases the complete devise becomes destroyed by having to physically cut the lanyards on some to save others.
The BoxGrip™ eliminates all of the above issues with Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) by:
· reducing labour costs for fitting and removal of BoxGrip™ by 40%, in comparison to standard Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) cable-wrap tags.
· upon removal, by immediate automatic retraction, the BoxGrip™ device eliminates the problem of lanyards tangling up with other devices, hence, not only producing cost savings in re-using the device but (as a result of not tangling up) eliminates the cost of destroying your device completely.
Options available in this product:
The BoxGrip™ is a small device that measures 50mm x 55mm and is available in both AM or RF technologies, offering three different alarm function options as follows:
Alarm option 1:
· Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) antenna will sound if the tag is taken past the antenna panels
Alarm option 2:
· EAS antenna will sound if the tag is taken past the antenna panels
· plus, if the lanyards are cut, the tag itself will sound its own inbuilt audible alarm in situ – sound level 110DB
Alarm option 3:
· Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) antenna will sound if the tag is taken past the antenna panels
· if the lanyards are cut, the tag itself will sound its own inbuilt audible alarm in situ – sound level 110DB
· if taken past the antenna, the tag picks up the frequency emitted by the system which in turn triggers its own internal alarm – creating a double alarm effect from both the antenna panel alarm and its own internal alarm
· further to all of the above, if a tag is taken close to the antennas panels at the store exit (approx. 1.2 meters) the tag incorporates a warning function in the form of a ‘beep-beep’ sound and then stops once the tag is removed from the antenna panel area. This is designed to alert a genuine shopper they are nearing the security area without enduring the embarrassment of actually triggering the alarms
